Nevada High School Soccer - Lowry nudges Churchill County
August 23, 2024: Winnemucca, NV 89445 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) and the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), saw Lowry's soccer squad hold off Churchill County by a count of 1-0.
The Buckaroos (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Elko tipped Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Greenwave battle the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 24. Churchill County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 5-1 record after their 0-0 non-league Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV).
