The Alliance Bulldogs softball squad (Alliance, NE), was routed 13-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Highway 6 Trailblazers (Holdrege, NE)

With the triumph, Highway 6 improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Trailblazers travel to Lexington (Lexington, NE) to face the Minutemen in a B District 9 contest on Tuesday, August 27. The Minutemen enter the contest with a record of 1-3. Lexington won 20-9 in their recent non-league contest against Alliance (Alliance, NE)

The Bulldogs now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bennington for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 24. Alliance will face a Badgers squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE). The Badgers record now stands at 1-0.
