In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Christ Covenant Spartan volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors.

The Spartan (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Community Christian (Wilson, NC). The Cyclones come into the MACAA 2A challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Community Christian lost by Greenville Christian Academy (Greenville, NC), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Conquerors play the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Faith Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
