California High School Volleyball - Maranatha Christian tips Academy of Our Lady of Peace
August 23, 2025: San Diego, CA 92116 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Maranatha Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots.
With the win, Maranatha Christian improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Eagles host Santana (Santee, CA) to face the Sultans in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Sultans go into the test with a record of 1-1. Santana lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Coronado (Coronado, CA)
The Pilots now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Hills for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. Academy of Our Lady of Peace will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
