Riverdale Ridge Ravens (Thornton, CO) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Fort Collins Lambkins (Fort Collins, CO), 16-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Riverdale Ridge improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Ravens travel to Columbine (Littleton, CO) to face the Rebels in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 26. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 1-2. Columbine lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO)

The Lambkins now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rocky Mountain for a 5A/4A Northern game on Tuesday, August 26. Fort Collins will play a Lobos squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Lobos record now stands at 1-2.
