The Plainview Bears tipped the host Boaz Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bears confront the Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Plainview will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sardis (Boaz, AL).
