North Carolina High School Volleyball - Westminster Catawba Christian Covenant Day

Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Covenant Day advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions host Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 1-3. Metrolina Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent league game against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC)

The Indians (2-6) will now prepare for their game against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles go into the NCISAA Metrolina Athletic game with a 1-0 record.
