Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Covenant Day improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lions host Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC) to play the Hawks in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Charlotte Latin won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC)

Next, the Warriors play the Westminster Catawba Christian Indians (Rock Hill, SC) in a NCISAA Metrolina Athletic challenge, on Thursday, August 28.
