North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ambassador Christian School over Covenant Day

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Ambassador Christian School Lions (Huntersville, NC) and the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), observed Ambassador Christian School's volleyball team top Covenant Day by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Ambassador Christian School advances its record to 18-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC) to face the Lancers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 9-9. Legion Collegiate Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)

The Lions now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Country Day School for a NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic test on Wednesday, September 24. Covenant Day will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-5.
