August 23, 2025: Tyler, TX 75702 Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record.
Next, the Lions meet the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Tyler will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Mavericks go into the test with a 14-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over New Diana (Diana, TX).
