Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hillgrove improves its record to 5-9 on the season. The Hawks travel to Walton (Marietta, GA) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 4-0. Walton won 3-1 in their recent league test against Cherokee (Canton, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Paulding for a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, August 26.
