August 23, 2025: Imlay City, MI 48444 Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brighton (Brighton, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Brighton achieved victory over Divine Child (Dearborn, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Ravens now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stoney Creek for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Royal Oak will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bloomfield Hills (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
