Texas High School Volleyball - Martin can't hold off Miller
August 23, 2025: Corpus Christi, TX 78408 In Saturday's non-league match, the Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), by a margin of 2-1.
The Buccaneers now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Falfurrias for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Miller will clash with a Fightin' Jerseys team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alice (Alice, TX). The Fightin' Jerseys record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Martin drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX) to clash with the Patriots in a 5A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Mission Veterans Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Palmview (La Joya, TX)
