The Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX) volleyball held off the host Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Central Texas Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 23. Melissa will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-3.
