August 23, 2025: Sherman, TX 75090 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Sherman Bearcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Pilot Point Bearcats.
With the win, Sherman improves its record to 6-6 on the season. The Bearcats host Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX) to face the Mavericks in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a record of 14-0. Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Denison (Denison, TX)
Next, the Bearcats meet the Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Pilot Point will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, TX).
