The Plano West Wolves volleyball squad (Plano, TX), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Southlake Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX)

With the win, Southlake Carroll improves its record to 15-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX) to encounter the Bobcat in a 6A Region I District 4 battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Bobcat go into the battle with a record of 18-0. Byron Nelson won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Highland Park (Dallas, TX)

The Wolves now own a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKinney Boyd for a 6A Region I District 6 contest on Tuesday, August 26. Plano West will battle a Broncos team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 4-5.
