August 23, 2025: Georgetown, KY 40324 Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Cardinals now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Corbin for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Scott County will play a Redhounds team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 2-0.
The Red Devils (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Bourbon County was dropped by Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
