Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Yerington improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Lions host Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to meet the Falcons in a 2A Northern challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV)
