August 24, 2023: Holly Springs, MS 38635 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS) and the host Byers Lions (Holly Springs, MS), saw Thrasher's volleyball squad beat Byers by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Thrasher upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Rebels travel to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Wheeler lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)
The Lions now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Byhalia for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Byers will play a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Panola (Sardis, MS). The Indians record now stands at 2-7.
