The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC) and the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), saw Montgomery Central's volleyball squad beat Salisbury by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Montgomery Central upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Anson (Wadesboro, NC) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Anson won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC)

The Hornets now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host North Davidson for a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. Salisbury will play a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-3.
