Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Rangers clash with the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 25. Smithson Valley will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the match with a 10-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Azle (Azle, TX).

With the loss, San Angelo Central drops to 17-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, August 25. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 17-8. McAllen Memorial won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Judson (Converse, TX)
