The San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) volleyball nudged the host La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, San Angelo Central betters its record to 19-5 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Centennial (Burleson, TX) to face the Spartans in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 26. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 12-13. Centennial lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX)
