Kentucky High School Volleyball - Apollo tips Green County
August 24, 2024: Owensboro, KY 42301 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) and the visiting Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY), observed Apollo's volleyball team hold off Green County by a count of 2-1.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Larue County was tipped by Apollo (Owensboro, KY), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Dragons battle the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 24. Green County will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Colonels enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY).
