August 24, 2024: Waco, TX 76710 Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Waco Lions (Waco, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Connally improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Cadets travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-8. Hillsboro won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Irving (Irving, TX)
The Lions now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rudder for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. Waco will face a Rangers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 14-7.
