The Van Horn Eagles edged the visiting Marathon Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

With the win, Van Horn advances its record to 10-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Alpine (Alpine, TX) to face the Bucks in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 27. The Bucks go into the test with a record of 8-7. Alpine lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wall (Wall, TX)

The Mustangs now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buena Vista for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3.
