Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks confront the Fossil Ridge Sabercats (Fort Collins, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. Horizon will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Sabercats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Grandview (Aurora, CO).
