North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hunt over Corinth Holders

August 25, 2022: Wendell, NC 27591

Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Warriors clash with the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a Quad County 3A match, on Tuesday, August 30. Hunt will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC).

With the loss, Corinth Holders drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Clayton (Clayton, NC) to clash with the Comets in a Greater Neuse River 4A match on Thursday, September 1. The Comets come into the match with a record of 3-2. Clayton won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against West Johnston (Benson, NC)
