The Cherokee Warriors football team (Canton, GA), was tipped 28-26 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA)

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Forsyth Central was tipped by North Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 27-17, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1. Cherokee will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 38-14 non-league loss to Hiram (Hiram, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.
