The Flowery Branch Falcons softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Johns Creek Gladiators to 1 in the Falcons non-league win on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lanier for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Flowery Branch will encounter a Longhorns team coming off a 9-7 league loss to Milton (Milton, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Johns Creek moves to 4-8 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Gainesville (Gainesville, GA) to encounter the Red Elephants in a 5A Region 7 battle on Tuesday, August 26.
