Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Trojans meet the Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA).
