August 25, 2025: Lineville, AL 36266 Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Benjamin Russell advances its record to 1-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Opelika (Opelika, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Opelika lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)
Next, the Volunteers play the JAG Jaguars (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Central of Clay County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jemison (Jemison, AL).
