The Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles volleyball squad (Erwin, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC)

With the win, Southern Lee improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a Carolina Pines 6A battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Western Harnett lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against North Moore (Robbins, NC)

Next, the Eagles meet the Crossroads Christian Colts (Henderson, NC) in a NCISAA Mid-Carolina challenge, on Friday, August 29.
