The Boaz Pirates topped the host Ashville Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hayden for a non-league test on Saturday, August 28. Boaz will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Etowah was knocked off by Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
