The Southeast Polk Rams topped the host Dowling Catholic Maroons football team by a final score of 38-24 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Southeast Polk improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Valley (West Des Moines, IA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Valley won 17-7 in their recent non-league outing against Northwest (Waukee, IA)

With the loss, Dowling Catholic moves to 0-1 on the season. The Maroons travel to Northwest (Waukee, IA) to battle the Wolves in a 5A Group 6 game on Friday, September 2.
