The Lafayette Commodores volleyball team (Oxford, MS), was dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS)

The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Bartlett was dropped by Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Commodores meet the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 29. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Corinth (Corinth, MS).
