August 26, 2022: Santa Rosa, TX 78593 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the IDEA Weslaco Pike (Weslaco, TX) and the host Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX), saw IDEA Weslaco Pike's volleyball squad beat Santa Rosa by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, IDEA Weslaco Pike upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The travel to Monte Alto (Monte Alto, TX) to play the Blue Devil in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 27. The Blue Devil go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to IDEA Weslaco Pike for a 3A Region IV District 32 bout on Friday, September 2.
