Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Galeton held off by Port Allegany
August 26, 2023: Galeton, PA 16922 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Port Allegany Gators (Port Allegany, PA) and the host Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA), saw Port Allegany's soccer squad get by Galeton by a count of 1-0.
The Gators now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Kane for a UAVSL Boys North test on Monday, August 28. Port Allegany will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 1-1 league Ridgway (Ridgway, PA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-0.
With the loss, Galeton drops to 0-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA) to meet the Mountie in a North Tier test on Thursday, August 31.
