August 26, 2023: Newell, SD 57760 The Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) volleyball overcame the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Hot Springs betters its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bison host Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to face the Golddiggers in a A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Golddiggers go into the outing with a record of 1-2.
The Irrigators now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Harding County for a B Region 8 outing on Monday, August 28. Newell will face a Ranchers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD). The Ranchers record now stands at 1-0.
