August 26, 2023: Huron, SD 57350 The Northwestern Area Wildcats volleyball team (Mellette, SD), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Huron Tigers (Huron, SD)
The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookings (Brookings, SD). The Bobcats enter the AA District 1 challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Brookings went down by Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Langford Lions (Langford, SD) in a B Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Northwestern Area will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record.
