August 26, 2023: Rockford, IL 61109 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Marengo Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Jefferson J-Hawks.
The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Sterling went down by Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the J-Hawks encounter the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 26. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Royal Lions come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL).
