With the win, Verdigris betters its record to 12-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Catoosa (Catoosa, OK) to face the Indians in a Green Country outing on Tuesday, August 29. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 8-10.
The Chargers now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to McLain Science & Tech for a Green Country outing on Monday, August 28. Memorial will face a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Edison (Tulsa, OK). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
