August 25, 2023: Tulsa, OK 74105 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) and the host Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK), saw Verdigris's volleyball squad beat Edison by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Verdigris upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Claremore (Claremore, OK) to play the Zebras in a non-league bout on Friday, August 25. The Zebras go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Claremore won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against East Central (Tulsa, OK)
With the loss, Edison drops to 11-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK) to battle the Ropers in a Green Country match on Friday, August 25. The Ropers come into the match with a record of 1-4.
