September 12, 2023: Oologah, OK 74053 The Verdigris Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Oologah Mustangs to 0 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now have a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berryhill for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Verdigris will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-13.
The Mustangs (8-14) will now prepare for their game against Skiatook (Skiatook, OK). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 4-22 record. In their last game, Skiatook was topped by Collinsville (Collinsville, OK), 3-0, in a league outing.
