North Carolina High School Volleyball - Leesville Road can't get by Wakefield
August 26, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27614 Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wakefield improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Rams go into the test with a record of 0-1. Franklinton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC)
The Pride now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. Leesville Road will face a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.
