With the win, Wakefield improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to encounter the Catamounts in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 22. The Catamounts go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Spartans now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league battle on Monday, August 26. Sanderson will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Apex (Apex, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
