Georgia High School Volleyball - Young Americans Christian over Covington Academy
August 26, 2024: Covington, GA 30014 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Young Americans Christian Eagles (Conyers, GA) and the host Covington Academy Bulldogs (Covington, GA), observed Young Americans Christian's volleyball team top Covington Academy by a count of 3-0.
The Eagles (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against New Creation Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Crusaders enter the GAPPS DI-AA Region 3 contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, New Creation Christian Academy was knocked off by Stratford Academy (Macon, GA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bulldogs battle the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Covington Academy will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Peachtree Academy (Covington, GA).
