Mississippi High School Volleyball - Jefferson Davis County over Mendenhall
August 26, 2024: Mendenhall, MS 39114 In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jefferson Davis County Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mendenhall Tigers.
The Jaguars (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS). The Tartars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Taylorsville beat Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) in a Class 4A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, August 27. Mendenhall will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Clinton Christian Academy (Clinton, MS).
