Match Summary
Tallwood showed great spirit in their opening match of the 2025-2026 season, defeating Green Run in a come-from-behind, back-and-forth, marathon 5-set match. After Tallwood dominated the first set, Green Run settled in and rode the energy of their home crowd to a 2-1 lead, going into the 4th set. But a variety of miscues from the Stallions contributed to a 20-15 lead for the Lions, and after 3 consecutive aces from senior OH Aiden put Tallwood up 24-15, they held on for a 25-17 win in Game 4. Game 5 lacked the balance of the first 4 sets, as Tallwood jumped out early and held on for the decisive 15-11 set 5.
