In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Alleghany Trojans volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Ashe County Huskies.

With the win, Alleghany advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Trojans host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Rams go into the test with a record of 3-1. Starmount won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC)

The Huskies now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watauga for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 27.
