Minnesota High School Volleyball - Columbia Heights bounced by Academy of Holy Angels
August 26, 2025: Richfield, MN 55423 Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Academy of Holy Angels improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Stars host Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 2-0. Cretin-Derham Hall won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN)
The Hylanders now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Math & Science Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 27. Columbia Heights will meet a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
